Bridal Spotlight- Jessica St. Clair

After booking The Center, what was the next step in your planning process, such as booking a caterer?
 
After we booked The Center, I knew the next thing I wanted to book was the DJ! I think the DJ can make or break a wedding. You need someone with personality, good taste in music (of course!), and someone who really "gets" what you want to do at your wedding. Party Pleasers DJ definitely exceeded our expectations. Doug made us feel at ease and helped us tremendously in choosing the uplighting and other effects we were going to do. Right after we booked our caterer (Jack's catering). Booking vendors made it really feel "real" and got the ball rolling on the whole planning process.
 
My advice to newly engaged couples is to book the caterer and event location as soon as possible! A year out is not too early and it always put my mind at ease those first few months knowing that the big vendors were taken care of.
